This course introduces delegates to program design techniques to improve programmer productivity. It improves the awareness of the programming environment for both testing and development of applications on the iSeries.
On completion of this course, you will be able to:
Programming staff with limited or no previous programming experience in programming on an iSeries or AS/400.
Delegates should attend this course prior to embarking on a programming career. This course is scheduled to run immediately after the iSeries SYSTEM FACILITIES course.
This course is suitable for delegates embarking on a programming career using RPG/400, RPGIV or Cobol.

Programming Concepts.
Logic Schemes.
A course manual with supporting documentation is provided. The course includes reference notes with sample pseudo code structures for the major types of program likely to be encountered on the iSeries. Presentation materials show the construction of a program and the basic program structures. The course is supplemented with practical sessions to demonstrate programs running on an iSeries.
